Hello! I am Ms. Chari Fleener. I am beginning my 13th year in education and my 10th year at Henry School. I have served in several grade levels over the years. Last year was my first year serving in special education. I am the special education inclusion teacher for grades K-2 at Henry Elementary. It is a joy to work in this position; I feel like my students have taught me as much as I have taught them.
I am the school advisor for Best Buddies. This is an international organization that focuses on building inclusion in our communities. At the school level this is done through a friendship building program that facilitates friendships between students with disabilities and those without.
In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, hiking, and crafting.
