I began my teaching career at Henry County High School in 2013 teaching Family and Consumer Sciences. My undergraduate and graduate degrees are in Family and Consumer Sciences. I am currently working to earn a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am very passionate about Career and Technical Education (CTE), formerly known as Vocational Education. All students should get to experience the real-life lessons and experiences CTE has to offer. In my role as a Career Coach, I will be able to connect with students (and parents) and share my love and knowledge of this educational field.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and our dog, Scooby! He is a Cavapoo, who loves to play, eat, and sleep! We love to travel to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg each year in the fall and the beaches of 30A in the summer.
